At Panorama, our commitment to social change extends beyond our programs and partners—it’s woven into how we show up in our own communities.

We believe in living our values of partnership and impact by volunteering locally, building deeper connections with the grassroots leaders, and strengthening our commitment to locally led solutions.  

With hubs in Seattle and Washington D.C., we came together in person for a day of team building and service, contributing time and energy to organizations making a positive change.

In Seattle, Panorama staff put these values into action at Angeline's Day Center, a YWCA program that provides safety and support for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Beth Paul, Doug Volle, Linley Kirkwood, Mary O’Reilly, and Sarah Rix served lunch to guests of the shelter and rolled up their sleeves in the donations warehouse—sorting clothing, bedding, toiletries, and supplies so essentials are easier to access.

In Washington, D.C., our employees partnered with Homes Not Borders to support refugees and migrants as they build new lives in the US.  

Angelica Serna, Christina Le, Helena Schmitt, Reena Gupta, and Xenia Evangeloulis spent the morning with a newly arrived family from Afghanistan, transforming an empty apartment into a warm home by setting up bedrooms and assembling furniture.

Across the country, 23 Panorama employees joined in this year’s Volunteer Week.  

Jenny Shin volunteered through The Pantry, harvesting fruits and vegetables to provide families in need with fresh and nutritious food.

Amy Brueckman supported Paws and Claws Cat Rescue, helping clean the shelter so neglected cats have a safe place to heal before finding their forever homes.

‍

And Sarah Coney and Julia Roper spent the afternoon with Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, walking rescue dogs to give them much-needed time outside the shelter.

From serving nutritious lunches to supporting pets in need, Panorama staff are committed to building a more resilient and compassionate society, living out the values we champion every day.
