LaShondà has over 19 years of professional experience, serving in vice president capacities with management consulting firms, specializing in strategic communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, and partnerships for public and global health clients. LaShondà’s background includes building and managing programs and diverse teams of up to 30 staff, consultants, and vendors.
For the last 15 years, her worked involved the development of communications and campaign strategies, and the collaboration and coordination of strategic partnerships to ensure education and information, including access to care were available, to those communities with the greatest need. LaShondà worked for and with a range of organizations across sectors, including the World Health Organization and The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria.
She also brings extensive international experience working with agencies in Africa, Central America, and Central Asia, as well as in-country experience in Ghana, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.
LaShondà earned a BBA in Marketing from Howard University and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. She has completed the Leadership Development Program at Johns Hopkins University. LaShondà is currently pursuing her DrPH.
