Sierra Fox-Woods (she/her/hers) is a Program Officer for The Upswing Fund for Adolescent Mental Health. Sierra works to improve the mental health and well-being of adolescents by investing in and partnering with organizations that serve youth in culturally responsive ways. She joined Panorama in 2020 as a senior project manager, supporting the launch of The Upswing Fund and facilitated over $10 million in grantmaking guided by trust-based philanthropy principles to over 85 organizations across the U.S. in Upswing’s first year.
Sierra comes to Panorama most recently from Kamehameha Schools, a nonprofit educational trust, where she honed her skills in partnership management, research, reporting, and project management. In this role, she supported a statewide public-private partnership with the University of Hawai‘i and a multi-year research publication, among other projects, in pursuit of improved educational outcomes for Native Hawaiian students.
Sierra earned her MBA from Chaminade University and holds two BA degrees in Business Management and Hawaiian Studies from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. When not working to expand mental health care for adolescents, you can find Sierra outside exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two pups.
